Android's Open Food Facts is a fantastic piece of software. The fact that it can run on a desktop computer is nice, but the real benefit is the ability to easily browse and download records from our computers to our smartphones. The application allows you to search for restaurants all around the world. It's a fantastic way to get hungry and discover new places. I feel like this software is so useful, I can't imagine going anywhere without having it installed on my smartphone.
Open Food Facts does require that you have the open source application, which is a good thing! You have a choice of downloading the open source application or purchasing the free version. Either way, the Free version does provide an excellent number of search criteria. I find the free version a bit too restrictive for my taste, but I've never had any problems with it. What I do want is an app that doesn't require any downloads and allows me to search as many countries as I like. The Free version of the Open Food Facts app would have been perfect.
This is a great piece of software, which allows me to easily find out information about the restaurants in my area. Another huge plus is that it will automatically give me the location of the restaurants as well as the price of each meal. If you're anything like me, you probably love to eat out a lot. I find it a good idea to have access to Open Food Facts while driving the highways looking for the best restaurants in your area. For a very low cost, I can now do this.
